I commenced showing dogs at 9 years of age, and won my first Junior Handlers in Melbourne handling a German Shepherd Dog.

My parents, Don and Gwen Welsford moved from Victoria to Port Augusta,  South Australia, and continued to successfully breed and show under the "Kronfelds" prefix.

We also dabbled in Obedience with our dogs. Both Mum and Dad being qualified Obedience Instructors.

Once I left home , I started my  down my own path and the prefix "Voncronan" was started. 

I began my judging career approximately 4 years ago, and at present I am qualified to judge TOYS (Group 1) at Championship Show level . It has been the best learning curve. There is always more to learn about , not only of your own breed, but of others as well.

I have been involved in numerous breeds, mainly handling,  These include Newfoundland, Siberian Husky, German Shepherd Dog, Dachshund, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Pappilon, Chihuahua, Bichon Frise, Schipperke, Pekingnese, Min Pins, Shiba Inu , Rottweiler, Griffon Bruxellois, and many more.

My purpose is to continue improving my chosen breed, (Chihuahua).
